Welcome to the Sigma Chi Zeta Colony at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette

The Sigma Chi Zeta Colony at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette was founded on Feburary 24, 2012 with a starting class of 20 men. The Colony was founded on the values of friendship, justice, and learning. Since that time, we have reached membership up to 35 members after two successful pledge classes. All of our members remain active and act as leaders throughout the entire University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Lafayette communities through campus events, good relationships with University faculty and administration, high academic standards, philantrophy with events such as derby days and working with the Huntsman Cancer Institute, and other various community services.

Another value present within our Fraternity is Diversity. While being the fifth largest Fraternity on campus, we are also the most diverse Fraternity at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with 40% of our members belonging to some minority group.
